There is a craze to give Convenia for everything, sort of like what is happening with sedation now for things it should not be used for and was not needed for. I have talked to numerous people whose cats and dogs died after convenia and they have to live with that pain forever because they weren't consulted and or warned about the side effects. Convenia is often used for ferals because you can't pill them, so it works with just one injection, but personally I have found that Clavamox works fastest with wounds and abscesses.
